PAYMENT SYSTEM FOR CONSULAR SERVICES
As of April 1, 2012, paymentS for consular procedures are requested. The consular fee is only to be payed for procedures carried out at the Costa Rican Embassy in Berlin.
The procedures carried out in the Honorary Consulates of Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig and Lahr, except for visas, are paid directly in Costa Rica. For more information about this procedure, please click here.
Payment procedure:
On the day of your appointment at the embassy you must present the physical payment receipt of the deposit made to the account of the Costa Rican Embassy in Berlin. Information about the bank account will be send to you by e-mail. Please make a separate deposit for each procedure and indicate the service you are paying for. The deposit must be made in the same month of your appointment.
The cost of the procedures are established in dollars. Therefore, you should consider the exchange rate of each month. When converting from dollars to euros you must round up the amounts in euros to the nearest whole unit.
Important note: NO refunds will be made for money deposited incorrectly.
